Please also note the following: Our Restaurant is open Wednesday -Sunday It is very popular with our guests and can
get extremely busy, and we ask that guests who book on Bed and Breakfast terms but would like a table for dinner book at least 24 hours before arrival and by the end of breakfast each day during your stay.

In no circumstances can we offer dinner to any guest
who does not Book before arrival?

Dinner is served at 7 pm and Breakfast 8.15 am- 9.30 am

The hotel also offers a selection of Picnic Hampers which again must be pre-booked 24hrs before they are required. Your Picnic can be delivered to your room on arrival for a Light Lunch or as an alternative to Dinner in the restaurant. Our Hampers are also ideal for guests arriving later and cannot make Dinner service at 7 pm

Swimming Pool
Our Pool is available in Private 1-hour slots from 7 am-4 pm and 6 pm-9 pm
The Period of 4 pm – 6 pm as of 28/09/2023 will be an open swim with all guests able to use the pool without booking a slot
We advise guests who wish to have a private swim to book their slot as soon as possible to get the time they require rather than what we have left.

Unfortunately not all members of society today are pleasant people We will never be able to Guarantee 100% satisfaction for all guests’ stays, and whilst wishing to hear of any problem you may experience we will never accept Verbal, Physical or Written abuse of Us or Our Staff

Any guests conducting themselves in such a manner will be asked to settle their accounts and leave the premises. Any unpaid outstanding monies owed to the hotel will in all cases be taken up in the courts of the United Kingdom

1. Making a Booking:

By making a booking you are confirming that you are authorized to do so on behalf of all persons named in the booking and you are acknowledging that all members of your party agree to be bound by these Hotel Booking Terms & Conditions.

When your booking has been made a confirmation will be sent to you by email using the email address that you have supplied, or by post.

If on arrival at the Hotel, you cannot present a valid confirmation you do not have a booking we will always try to be of help if we can.

Booking confirmations are subject to the availability of accommodation at the hotel.

You should carefully check the details of your confirmation as soon as you receive it. You must contact Felbrigg Lodge immediately if any of the details are incorrect or incomplete.

We will always endeavour to rectify any inaccuracies or accommodate any alterations you wish to make to your booking.

We cannot accept liability for any inaccuracies that are not brought to our attention within seven days of issuing your confirmation, nor can we accept responsibility for the inaccurate information that you have supplied.

2. Paying for your booking:

Credit or debit card details will be required when you make your booking, a £5.00  deposit will be required at the time of booking. However, we will require your credit or Debit card details and If you cancel within 72 hours of arrival we reserve the right to charge your card for the full amount of your stay.

We strongly recommend guests have holiday cancellation Insurance.

Guests staying with us from agencies like Expedia Etc must present us with a valid card on arrival 

All guests will be billed on the card they provide us with on the morning of departure for the balance on your account and any extras you have had.

Please ask if you require a copy of this on departure.

All Bookings made on the Day of arrival will be required to be paid for in full at the time of booking.

With some special offers and packages, Full payment in advance may be required. All Bookings Made through Voucher sites are completely Non-refundable or transferable in the Event of Cancellation.

Unless stated as part of your booking, additional items such as (but not limited to) the cost of external telephone calls, meals, drinks, and travel expenses, are not included in the price of your stay. If you incur any such additional costs you must settle the sum involved on your departure from the hotel.

3. Prices & Price changes

All prices are based on 2 Adults sharing an En Suite room.

Children sharing a parent’s room are charged £40.00 Per night Bed and Breakfast. children’s dinners will be charged as an extra dependent on what the child eats.

Guests 13+ will be charged as adults. They will be charged £50.00 per night Bed and Breakfast Per Night and other food at the prevailing rate at the time of their stay.

Felbrigg Lodge Hotel reserves the right to increase or decrease the price of unsold breaks or any of its other services at any time.

The price of your chosen break will be confirmed when your booking is made and, except for any errors, we will not increase this price once it has been confirmed.

We reserve the right to correct any errors in advertised and confirmed prices and will do so as soon as we become aware of an error.

We will notify you of any price discrepancies relating to your booking should they arise, but we strongly advise you to check that the final price of your booking is correct before making your final confirmation.

4. Price Guarantee

On receipt of written confirmation, the prices quoted and confirmed in writing by the Hotel remain fixed except for any alterations in the Government rates of taxation and/or duty such as VAT, for which we reserve the right to alter pricing to take account of any variation.

5. Amendments to your booking:

You should notify us of any amendments to your confirmed booking by telephone or in writing (by post or by email to as soon as possible.Repeated amendments are subject to £25.00. administration Fee. Amendments are subject to availability and those made within the cancellation period (see below) may also be subject to cancellation charges.

6. Cancellations by Guest:

Bookings cancelled less than 3 days (s) before 21:00 on the day of check-in will incur a charge of the full amount of their stay.
All Cancellations must be in writing.

7. Cancellations and changes made by Felbrigg Lodge Hotel

In the unlikely event that a hotel is unable to accommodate a confirmed reservation, it may be necessary to offer an alternative of an equal or a superior standard.

If at any time we need to make changes that will significantly affect your stay or we need to cancel your stay, we will tell you as soon as possible, offering a suitable alternative or a refund.

This does not apply to minor changes or events during your stay, resulting from unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.

We cannot be held responsible for cancelling your booking as a result of your failure to comply with any requirement of our Hotel Booking Terms & Conditions, and we cannot be held liable for any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation.

If a guest or a member of your party behaves in a way that causes or is likely to cause danger, upset or distress to a third party or hotel or guest property, we are entitled, without prior notice, to curtail the stay and request that the person(s) concerned to leave the hotel.

No refunds or return travel arrangements will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of such a curtailment.

8. Additional Requests:

All additional or special requests are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee the provision for special requests. Any additional requests made should be before you arrive at the hotel, giving reasonable advance notice.

9. Third-party suppliers

Elements of your break may include services supplied by third parties (for example golf, tickets to local attractions, etc). Such third-party suppliers will usually have their own set of Terms and Conditions relating to the services they provide.

You should consult any third-party Terms and Conditions soon after making a booking if your break includes such items.

10. Medical conditions

If you or any member of your party has a medical problem or disability which may affect your stay, please call Reservations to advise us so that we can make provision for the particular needs of the person(s) concerned.

We will advise you if we are unable to make such a provision.

If details are not provided to us at the time of booking, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking should it be unable to make appropriate provision for a specific need or needs.

11. Circumstances beyond our control:

We cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, and no refunds will be given in these circumstances.

These include (but are not limited to) adverse weather conditions, fire, riot, war, mechanical breakdown, terrorist activity (or threat of such activity), industrial dispute, natural disaster, or injuries and death of an individual(s) through accidental circumstances unconnected with the hotel.

By making a booking you are accepting responsibility for any damage or loss caused by yourself or a member of your party.

Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid to the hotel owner or manager on demand.

If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made (together with our own and the other party’s full legal costs) as a result of your actions.

12. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay you should bring the problem or issue to the attention of the duty manager or senior member of staff at the hotel as soon as possible so that all reasonable efforts can be made to rectify the situation.

Unfortunately, we will never be able to Guarantee 100% satisfaction for all guests stays and whilst wishing to hear of any problem you may experience we will never accept verbal or Physical abuse of us or our staff any guests conducting themselves in such a manner will be asked to settle their accounts and leave the premises. Any unpaid outstanding monies owed to the hotel will in all cases be taken up in the courts of the United Kingdom

13. General Information

Accommodation: As a minimum, all bedrooms feature a private en suite bathroom with either a bath & shower or a shower.

Colour television, tea/coffee making facilities. Several bedrooms feature facilities in addition to those stated above.
Swimming Pool

 We offer guests the private use of our indoor pool, but the management reserves the right to access the pool and Hot tub area at any time to ensure water quality and pool rules are being observed.

Opening hours: The owners or a team member are avaiable from 7.30 am until 9.00 pm. If you wish to check in to the hotel out of these hours, please discuss with reception at the time of booking.

Payment Methods: We accept credit and debit cards,(Excluding AMEX and DINERS) cash, and cheques.

Check-in: Your room(s) will normally be available by 2.30 pm. If you wish to arrive earlier please telephone reception to see if it is possible.

Check-Out: We ask that you vacate your room by 10.30 am.

Parking: There is ample free parking at the rear of the hotel.

14. Children’s Policy

Whilst we are more than happy to feed your little ones.
A few ground rules must apply for the enjoyment of ALL the residents….

Should your baby/toddler become unhappy during your meal, they must be removed from the restaurant until they have stopped crying.

If they are past their sell-by date and cannot be consoled we will serve the remainder of your meal in your room. This will allow everyone to relax and enjoy their evening.

We have had children of our own and know how stressful it is for all concerned. We are more than happy to provide early dinner for all your family, or high tea for the little ones and you eat later. Just ask! We are here to help.

Extra Beds for Children Sharing in Parents Room are £35.00 Per Night B&B up to 12 years.

Guests 13+ will be charged as adults.

Any children must be declared on making your reservation either online or by telephone.

15. Pets

Pets are accepted in the hotel in certain nominated rooms Briar, Bracken, Bramble, Willow, and Hedgehog Cottage. please ask at the time of booking.

No pets are allowed in the restaurant( excluding guide dogs) However guests and their pets are welcome to take Breakfast and Dinner in the conservatory.

Owners leaving pets unattended in a room must ensure they are left in a suitable travel crate If this is not the case owners will be liable for any damage caused and will be charged at full repair and reinstatement cost.

Pets are charged at £10.00 Per Pet Per Night.

Smoking Policy:

Felbrigg Lodge Hotel is a non-smoking hotel throughout. Outside smoking areas are available

17. Taxes:

All prices include VAT tax at the prevailing rate at the time a payment is made.

18. Tourist attractions:

To avoid disappointment you should check the seasonal and/or daily opening times of any tourist attractions before travelling to the hotel or the attraction concerned.

19. Accuracy of information on this website:

Whereas we endeavour to ensure the information contained within this website is as accurate as possible, there will inevitably be instances where information may be incorrect or out of date.

We accept liability for, services booked via the Felbrigg Lodge Hotel Hotel website under the Booking Terms & Conditions current at the time of booking. We cannot accept any other form of liability.

Felbrigg Lodge Hotel cannot be held responsible for the accuracy, content, or availability of information about our hotels or our organization that may be found on third-party websites. Neither are we responsible for the content or privacy policies of any third-party websites that have links to or from the Felbrigg Lodge Hotel website.

We will hold items of lost property for 1 month after which they will be disposed of . It is your responsibility to check that you have all your personal belongings with you on departing the Hotel.
